Communication Advisor, Intranet Specialist - Temporary

The Public Affairs and Global Communications team is a committed and creative group that contributes to the company's success through strategic communications, social responsibility and public affairs initiatives.

The role we are offering you: Working with CAE's divisions and corporate functions, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and support various projects, both internal and external. Are you ready to:

Participate in the development and implementation of internal and external communication campaigns, strategies, programs and corporate events.

Provide strategic communications advice to internal clients for employee communications, and the use of internal communication tools.

As the lead of the company's intranet and team management tools, manage strategy, roadmap, and priorities.

Produce the overall schedule of the intranet, internal publication and other employee communication tools.

Maintain excellent relationships with content holders to ensure efficient information sharing.

Work with the Internal Communications Strategy Committee to propose innovative solutions and ideas for the continuous improvement of employee communications and the use of team management tools.

Perform updates to the intranet and ensure compliance with procedures related to its use.

Ensure that procedures related to the internal communication tools in place are maintained, applied and updated.

Ensure consistency of messages and information sharing.

Ensure regular follow-throughs with suppliers.

Plan and supervise certain employee events and/or special projects.

Carry out budget monitoring of their projects.
 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing communications, or any other related discipline.

4-8 years of experience in corporate or marketing communication.

Experience in managing an intranet (CMS).

Bilingualism with excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills (French and English).

Experience in project management, with the ability to manage projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.

To have a sense of autonomy and self-discipline and show initiative and creativity.

Comfort with current technologies and knowledge of relevant software (Airtable, Adobe, Staffbase, Canva, etc.) a plus.

Ability to deal with many stakeholders (internal and external).

Enthusiasm, versatility, initiative, creativity, rigour, discernment, good team player, great autonomy and ability to work under pressure.

Proficient in the Office suite and Outlook.
