Communication Associate

The Communications Associate will assist in the development of written, visual, and multimedia content for a multitude of uses. Our ideal candidate is results-driven, technically minded, detail-oriented and adaptable. Our team is responsible for developing strategic, creative, engaging, and informative content to promote Clark’s brand identity and culture for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the coordination and development of written and visual content for:Internal company announcements and newslettersCompany news and press releasesCorporate marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, advertisements, signs, and other collateralAward submissionsCompany publications, including Clark’s quarterly magazine, SuperstructureDigital communications platforms, including long and short-form articles for clarkconstruction.com, our corporate intranet, and social platformsCase studies and in-depth articles for print and digital distributionAssist in the planning and execution of company events, including coordinating RSVPs and creating event materials such as invites, nametags, and signage.Uphold consistent corporate brand standards in written communication and visual collateral throughout the organizationSupport the administration of the department’s operations including managing vendor processing and payment, maintaining project information, and coordinating department meetings and eventsCultivate a network of industry relationships to bring potential business opportunities to Clark leadershipCultivate industry relationships to help attract and recruit top talent to Clark. A mindset of "All team members are recruiters"Exceed our stakeholders’ expectations by anticipating their needs, desires, and goals

Basic Qualifications:

Work experience in communications or digital marketing is an assetBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredDemonstrated ability to write in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong command of English grammar and editing skillsCommand of visual design principles to support appealing and effective communicationExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cooperatively with senior management, supervisors, colleagues, and partnersExcels at working both independently and as part of a cross-functional teamDetail-oriented, with a drive to produce high-quality content, provide outstanding client service, and continually improve results and processesWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; Premier Pro, Premier Rush a plus)Experience or interest in the A/E/C industry a plusAlignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships, Builds People / Teams & Followership, Sets Direction & Executes
