Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Manager to join our Global Communications team, focusing on our Core Lab Specialty Products organization. This role is vital in fostering a purpose-driven culture and improving communications within teams that support our Hematology, Urinalysis, and Automation business units. As the Communications Manager, you will work closely with executive leaders and teams in Miami and Munich, supporting Hematology, Urinalysis, Automation, and Workflow Information Technology Systems (WITS) and local site initiatives while reporting directly to the Global Corporate Communications team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns team members with our culture and business priorities. You will provide direct support to both the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Core Lab Specialty Products in Miami and the Vice President & General Manager of the Automation Business Unit in Munich, Germany. Your responsibilities will include crafting and delivering clear, impactful messages across various channels such as executive emails, talking points, town halls, presentations, and videos.
You will translate complex corporate strategies into compelling narratives that resonate on a deeper, human level. Your work will help bring Beckman Coulter's business strategy to life, reinforce our employer brand, and highlight our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, you will collaborate with leaders across the Hematology, Urinalysis, and Automation Business Units to ensure alignment and a seamless flow of information across time zones, enhancing collaboration and operational synergies across Beckman Coulter Diagnostics.
This role requires up to 25% travel, primarily within the U.S., with periodic travel to Munich. Therefore, you should be within commuting distance of both the Kendall area of Miami and Miami International Airport for international travel.
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in internal corporate communications, ideally within the healthcare or diagnostics industry. You should be a skilled and creative storyteller, able to distill complex topics into clear and engaging messages. Fluency in English is required, although it does not need to be your native language.
While the position will primarily operate within Eastern U.S. working hours, flexibility will be necessary to accommodate operations across different time zones in the U.S. and Europe.
