Abacus Technology is seeking a Communications Systems Specialist to provide audio and video teleconference support for Picatinny Arsenal. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities Provide technical support, monitoring VTCs, meetings, briefings, ceremonies, conference rooms, presentations support, scheduling, Commercial Access Television (CATV), collaborative tools, visualization tools, AV projects, remote facilitation, HUB operations, digital signage, video feeds, video and audio distribution and AV troubleshootingProvide support for all conference room’s video display and audio systems, to include simultaneously displaying presentations/information, when appropriateAdminister all AV distribution equipment, AV switching equipment, displays, and other associated equipment that provide a secure, robust, and integrated information system between the end users and their required resources, to include life cycle management of that equipmentAdminister, configure, and operate systems supporting the conference rooms and collaboration spaces Qualifications3+ years experience supporting AV and VTC systems. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must be Security+ certified. Experience in operating and troubleshooting video/audio/data teleconferencing equipment, station endpoints, gateways, and bridges. Must be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Requires good communications skills and the ability to work professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
