We are looking for a passionate Communications Advisor to join our team of five dedicated colleagues, providing communications support across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders, teams, and colleagues across the business. As a hands-on communication expert, you will be responsible for drafting and delivering content internally and externally, ensuring clarity, alignment, and engagement. 

 

While the preferred location is our headquarters in Nordborg, Denmark, we are flexible to other locations, although some on-site presence in Nordborg will be required.

Job Responsibilities

As a Communications Advisor, you will play a key role in developing and executing communications that engage employees and support Danfoss' business objectives. You will work collaboratively with leadership teams and colleagues across the organization to ensure clear, impactful communication.  

 

While strong communication skills are essential, this position requires a blend of strategic planning, hands-on content creation, leadership support, and change communication skills. The role requires a certain adaptability and flexibility, especially with last-minute requests or navigating peak workloads.  

 

Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:  

Partnering with the leadership teams and colleagues of your specific business area to support and advice on their communication activities (internal and external). Plan, develop, and execute communication strategies, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders.  Create high-quality content across multiple channels, including articles, social media, newsletters, speeches, press releases, making presentations, and video content. Organize and lead communication initiatives such as town halls, campaigns, employee engagement activities, thought leadership initiatives, and communication training.  Supporting other teams and colleagues with communication products.  Background & Skills

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and a master’s degree in communications, journalism, or similar. You are fluent in spoken and written English and bring an extensive communications toolbox. You have an eye for detail and aesthetics, ensuring high-quality products.  

 

In addition, you feel comfortable in a digital environment using standard tools for collaborating and creating communication materials. 

 

On a personal level, your passion and energy drive you to be proactive and organized. You contribute with a positive and service-minded attitude to collaborate and interact with multiple and diverse stakeholders. As a team player, you demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. By acting as a trusted advisor, you listen attentively and ask insightful questions, which enables you to provide effective communication solutions and facilitate problem-solving.
