REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree plus 1 year experience providing administrative/project management support OR Associate Degree with 3 years relevant experience, OR HS Diploma/Equivalent plus 5 years relevant experience.Must have access to a vehicle that they can use every day for work. Must be able to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI Clearances.Must pass pre-employment drug screening.WORK SCHEDULE: (non-exempt/hourly position)
In office, in person Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some occasional, non-traditional business hours, such as evenings or weekends, as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a motivated and versatile Communications Assistant to support the essential operations of McAuley Ministries (MM) and the Communications Department of Pittsburgh Mercy (PM). In this role, you will provide daily administrative support, manage key financial and operational tasks, and contribute to the creation of compelling written, visual, and multimedia content. You’ll be part of a passionate, collaborative, and dedicated small-but-mighty team, making a meaningful impact in our community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the office.Oversee essential financial and operational duties for McAuley Ministries, including issuing payments, accounting, and reporting.Assist in generating press releases, earned media placements, and organizational stories.Create original content for various platforms, including newsletters (internal and external), social media, websites, and flyers.Collaborate on writing, graphic design, photography, and video production projects to support communication initiatives.Adapt to changing internal and external needs with a flexible and proactive mindset.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
