BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition is looking for a Communications Intern to join our team.  

 

As a Communications Intern, you will provide support for the development and execution of PR plans. This role will entail a great deal of exposure to the elements that go into bringing PR plans to life and working collaboratively across brand, partnerships, shopper, creative, social media and paid media.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Fully support upcoming PR plans and projects by assisting with: 

Creation of press materials and media lists  

Press outreach for key initiatives and activations in collaboration with our PR team and agency 

Management of PR deliverables timelines with the PR team  

Coordination and attendance of BODYARMOR-led events 

Manage product /mailer deliveries to press contacts 

Recapping projects and tracking press placements   

Manage product /mailer deliveries to press contacts 

Monitoring BODYARMOR and industry-related news on a daily basis 

Assist in managing timely communication of PR initiatives to cross-functional groups: brand, brand, partnerships, shopper, creative, social media and paid media  

Support upcoming social plans, activations and projects by assisting in:  

Monitoring, researching and tracking social performance, competitor planning, current trends, emerging platforms and best practices for BASN content.  

Coordinating with PR and social teams to support in development and execution of social media campaigns.  

Content creation support in-office and at company events such as athlete appearances, sponsorship activations and more.  

Provide admin support for meetings including sending the agenda and taking detailed notes with next steps  

Successfully complete the BODYARMOR Intern Program including weekly intern-driven meetings, final project presentation, weekly workshops, and attend our annual summit in NY 

Support additional ad hoc projects as requested 

REQUIREMENTS: 

Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field on track to graduate no sooner than December 2025.  

Previous PR experience at an agency, brand, company, etc.  

Strong analysis, creative thinking, planning, organizing, problem-solving and writing skills. 

Strong attention to detail. Self-starter. Team player. 

Ability to adjust on the fly and thrive in an ever-changing environment. 

Able to travel to the office in Whitestone, Queens on a hybrid schedule three days a week. 

 

Compensation: 

Undergraduate Students: $4,506 

Graduate Students: $6,066
