Communications Intern (Internal Communications) - Summer 2025

INTERNSHIP FORMAT

Remote: The format for this internship will be remote, meaning the intern will work virtually. Relocation and housing will not be provided. Remote work must be completed at a location based in the United States. Interns who live in the Metro-Detroit area are preferred and are welcome to work out of the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Interns located in Metro-Detroit may be asked to work on-site periodically. The onsite work could be at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, at Stellantis manufacturing facilities, or at various partner venues within the Metro-Detroit area.

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

When: The internship program will run from May 19 - August 8, 2025. Where: All internships are in the United States. Even remote work assignments must be completed within the United States. Transportation: Interns are responsible for getting to and from work daily. Stellantis does not provide transportation to interns.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

The Internal Communications Intern will primarily be responsible to help with storytelling opportunities (graphic and editorial) pertaining to corporate, Business Resource Group (BRG), product and manufacturing news. The successful candidate will also support the internal manufacturing lead with plant promotions and events. The candidate will have a role in developing our monthly internal analytics, as well as the draft and layout of the North America Managerial waterfall document. There will also be some benchmarking and research projects included in the experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

Pursuing an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Majoring in Marketing, Digital Media, Public Relations, Communication, or Journalism Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university by the spring of 2025 GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications Capable of working both independently and as part of a team Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations EOE / Disability / Veteran
