Support the Director of Employee Communications with developing strategies to align the goals and objectives of Internal Communications with the organization’s mission, core values, strategic framework/plan, annual priorities, and change management initiatives
Support storytelling and various Internal Communications efforts, including organizational announcements, leader messaging, diversity and sustainability communications, video messages, presentations, employee editorial spotlights, and newsletter development through various channels (The Thread, videos, digital screens, presentations, meetings, e-mails, etc.)
Support content development for and execution of internal events
Assist in planning, scheduling, and creation of creative projects as needed for internal/employee engagement; identifies opportunities to repurpose/repackage content for recruitment marketing and/or external use as appropriate (LinkedIn, Social, Editorial, Press).
Create original graphics and videos for recruitment branding purposes
What You Bring To The RoleMinimum Requirements
Full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) undergraduate student pursuing a degree in human resources, communications, or other related field graduating after December 2025
Experience with various social media channels and online publishing tools
Knowledge of various creative design programs including Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
Strong proficiency with Google Suite, including Documents, Sheets, and Slides
Ability to manage and organize multiple projects with competing timelines
Strong oral and written communications skills with executive presence
Creative thinking and problem solving skills
Impeccable attention to detail
Preferred Requirements
Creative and/or design experience
Event management experience
Organizational recruitment experience

The expected hourly rate for this role is 20-22. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package.
