Communications Lead Senior - Enterprise Communications Team

The PNC Financial Services Group is seeking a Communications Lead Senior to join its Marketing and Corporate Communications department. The Communications Lead Sr. will be part of the Employee & Executive Communications team, which includes Enterprise Communications and People & Culture communications. Among other areas, the team leads internal communications for Human Resources, Internal Audit, Finance, Legal, Risk, the Regional Presidents Organization and PNC’s chairman and CEO. The team also manages PNC’s corporate recognition programs.

The Communications Lead Senior will report to the Senior Communications Manager of Enterprise Communications and can be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

What You'll Do:
• serve as the executive communications lead for Finance and internal Audit, including PNC’s chief financial officer and general officer.
• play a critical role in bringing an enterprise lens to our colleagues’ and partners’ content; providing updates on progress and performance and advising on current and future communications opportunities
• conduct research and peer benchmarking to identify new opportunities that help strengthen employees’ understanding of PNC’s strategic priorities
• lead special projects and manage other communications as assigned.

As part of your role, you will produce high-quality content for the company’s employee-facing channels, and work closely with colleagues across Marketing and Corporate Communications to develop holistic communications plans that leverage internal, external and digital channels.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or communications-related field
• 12+ years of experience in corporate communications; financial industry experience preferred
• 12+ years of experience in the development of holistic communications strategies in support of employee engagement, stakeholder relationship-building and executive communications
• Strong writer and editor; excellent story telling capability and ability to develop content that resonates across multiple communications platforms
