The Position
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and executing strategic communications that amplify the transformative work of our partners worldwide. You will collaborate across teams to craft inspiring narratives, enhance brand visibility, and ensure our messaging resonates globally.
In this role you will:
• Contribute to organisational goals by supporting the execution of the Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation (NNHF) communications strategy, gathering stakeholder feedback to refine and improve our approach annually.
• Design, implement, and assess a variety of communications projects, optimising NNHF platforms to showcase the real-world impact of our partners' work.
• Identify and highlight impactful programme stories, integrating them into compelling communications at both organisational and programme levels.
• Organise photo and video shoots to capture the essence of our partners' impact, while supporting strategic media engagement activities at the local level.
• Manage NNHF’s presence at global congresses, guide programme managers for local event representation, and ensure consistent branding across all communications.
This role is based in our Zurich office, with great flexibility around working from home and in the office as we work with our team members and partners across the world. Be ready for 20–30 exciting days of international travel annually, mainly to low- and middle-income countries.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we imagine that you have:
• University degree, with a focus on communications, public relations, media management, and/or project management with international exposure.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages is an advantage, especially French and Spanish.
• Demonstrated experience in communications, project management, and stakeholder management in an international setting.
• Experience in international non-profit work is an advantage.
• A systematic working style with excellent time management and prioritisation skills, along with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, intercultural awareness, and proven strengths in project management and presentations.
You should also be someone proactive, positive, someone that is eager to find solutions and is a fantastic team player.
About the Department
The Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving access to care for people with haemophilia and allied disorders in low- and middle-income countries. The NNHF funds projects to build capacity for diagnosis and care, encouraging its partners to join forces for sustainable impact and systemic change. Together, we strive to empower people with haemophilia and allied disorders to raise awareness, advocate with a united voice and live full lives.
You’ll be part of a dynamic team of nine dedicated members, and you will report directly to the General Manager of the Foundation.
