**Cisco is seeking a Communications Manager!** **Communications Manager** **Start/End Dates:** 1/1/2025 - 10/31/2025 **Location:** San Jose/San Francisco preferred (hybrid: 2 days/week onsite). Remote flexibility **This position can be remote (U.S.) or hybrid from our San Jose/San Francisco offices.** **Max Hourly Bill Rate:** $71.06 per Hr. The global **Devices Technology Group** at Cisco creates the world’s best audio and video collaboration tools. As part of the Collaboration Business Unit, we build meeting room and desk devices using a human-centered engineering and design approach. We are seeking a **Communications Manager** to support executive and team communications during a maternity leave. This role involves strategic communication planning and execution for our SVP and global team, focusing on internal and external initiatives such as keynote content, social media strategy, PR/AR preparation, and more. As Communications Manager, you’ll engage in diverse communication efforts across messaging, executive communications, social media, and PR. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you’ll work collaboratively across the organization while delivering impactful communications campaigns. **Key responsibilities include:** + Planning and executing strategic communications campaigns, including written and PowerPoint content for various internal and external audiences. + Supporting executive communications, social media storytelling, and organizational messaging for the SVP and Chief of Staff. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including PR, Social, Marketing, and global partners. + Engaging in content creation, proofreading, copyediting, and social media strategy. **Qualifications:** + 5+ years of professional experience in Communications or related fields. + Proven experience planning and executing keynote speeches or conference-style public speaking events. + Expertise in executive, organizational, and internal communications. + Exceptional writing, proofreading, and content editing skills. + Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Suite, and major social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn). + Intermediate skills in photo and video editing. + Strong cross-cultural communication skills and interest in working with global teams. + Fluency in English and based in the U.S. **Pay Details:** $71.06 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
