We are looking for a Communications Manager to build and implement a strategic social media and thought leadership plan to amplify our value proposition to business and government customers. The ideal candidate will have functional experience in social media and executive communications as well as subject matter experience in B2B technology. They will blend strategic thought, tactical chops, creativity, partner management, and execution to contribute to our team’s success. The people who will stand out for this role will be able to point to breakthrough work they’ve done in the B2B space and speak to its impact.

** This is a hybrid role, 3 days/week in the office **

Job Responsibilities:

Build, pitch, and implement a social media and thought leadership strategyDevelop and deliver social media content aligned to strategyDiscover and develop communications opportunities (podcasts, speaking engagements, blog posts, etc) aligned to strategyWork with creative partners to build customized visual contentPartner with paid media team to manage paid social campaignsReport results to internal partners that deliver insight, not just data

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, PR or related field.4-7 years proven experience in communications; functional experience in social media and executive communications.Subject matter experience with B2B technology.A storyteller with the knowledge, strategic mentality, and executive presence to become a trusted advisor to their internal partners.Deep knowledge of and proficiency with social media platforms including LinkedIn, X and others.Experience developing executive briefing materials.Demonstrated excellence in written communication – from tweet length to blog postProficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Teams.Experience in visual storytelling through image editing, photography, and video a plus.Knowledge of the telecommunications industry in B2B a plus.Ability to provide writing samples

Base Pay Range: $74,100 - $133,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
