Job Summary:

The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing the club’s communication strategies, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging across all platforms. Reporting to the Director of Membership, this role will oversee internal and external communications, manage digital and print content, and enhance member engagement through creative storytelling and strategic marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Communications:

Develop and manage all member communications, including newsletters, announcements, event promotions, and club updates. Ensure all communications align with the club’s brand, voice, and high standards. Work closely with department heads to gather content and relay key messages to members effectively.

Marketing & Branding:

Maintain and enhance the club’s brand identity across all communication channels. Collaborate with the Director of Membership to develop promotional materials and campaigns that highlight club events, amenities, and offerings. Oversee the creation of digital and print collateral, ensuring consistency in messaging and aesthetics.

Digital & Social Media Management:

Oversee and manage the club’s website, email communications, and social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). Develop content strategies that drive engagement, including video, photography, and written content. Monitor analytics to track engagement and adjust strategies accordingly.

Event Promotion & Coverage:

Work closely with the events team to promote club activities and special events. Capture and curate event coverage through photography, videography, and member testimonials. Develop post-event recaps to share with members through newsletters and social media.

Public Relations Support:

Work with the Director of Membership on public relations efforts, including media outreach, press materials, and strategic external communications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a communications, marketing, or public relations role, preferably in a hospitality, luxury, or private club environment. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in social media management, email marketing platforms, and website content management systems (CMS). Strong understanding of branding, design principles, and digital marketing trends. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and engage with a sophisticated, high-net-worth membership base. Experience with photography, videography, and graphic design is a plus.
