The Communications Manager is part of the dynamic communications team that supports Gartner's GTS (Global Technology Sales) organization. Reporting to the VP, Communications, this role will support Gartner's sales communications. The Communications Manager will empower sales associates in more than 30 countries with the information they need, when they need it, to make a tremendous impact on the mission critical priorities of the Gartner’s clients around the world.
What you’ll do:
This role will bring focus on the Sales associate’s experience in their career path at Gartner.Supporting Sales Communications, this new role will be responsible for creating sales-specific engagement programs and content that inform, excite, and engage Sales associates in their career planning.Upskilling managers, particularly early tenured, on the benefits of planned career pathing to themselves and GartnerEmbedding our Grow with Gartner philosophy in all critical touch points for associatesHighlighting successes across the populationPartnering with HRP and Talent Acquisition teams to align recruitment efforts and materials for Sales with this holistic approachWorking with Sales Learning and Development to ensure career path messaging is consistent throughout onboarding and early tenure – both in the New Hire experience and from ManagersActivities associated with this role include:
Building a multi-channel communications plan with senior Sales and HR leadershipCreating manager talk tracks and toolsDesigning engaging career path experiences for Sales associates, with compelling and current contentSourcing and delivering on success stories in written and spoken formCreating and maintaining content for an internal mobility site on Inside GartnerMeasuring success through data and qualitative feedbackWhat you’ll need:
3 - 5 years’ experience communications experiencePreferred: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.Strong content writing and editing skillsAn eagerness to learn, self-motivation and intellectual curiosityThe ability to handle curve balls and be comfortable with change and ambiguityDemonstrated business acumen with the ability to understand and apply strategyCreativity, great interpersonal communication, and strong organizational skillsAbility to collaborate cross-functionallyFact-based decision-making experiencePowerPoint, Excel and Word experience#LI-ML3

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 84,000 USD - 116,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
