The Communications Officer for US Bank in Europe will be responsible for creating and implementing communication activities to reach media, industry stakeholders and employees across Europe. In addition, they will assist the Head of Communications in Europe and the Internal Communications Manager with planning and implementing a series of activities to mark the 25th Anniversary of US Bank in Europe.

Please note - this is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract role

Job Description should read as follows:

The Communications Officer will be responsible for creating and implementing communication activities to broaden awareness of US Bank's activities in Europe. They will work with external agencies in UK, Poland and Ireland to develop communication activities in support of all our business lines and assist media spokespeople across Europe with interviews and external events. 

The individual will be comfortable advising senior business unit representatives and guiding and partnering with external creative agencies on the development and production of communications campaigns for US Bank in Europe.

Requirements

The job requires an efficient self-starter with exceptional communication skills, an excellent attention to detail, who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment and can ably juggle several tasks and projects.

Requirements:
 

Typically five to seven or more years of experience

Outstanding writing skills

Experienced media relations professional

Experience of planning, developing, delivering and measuring activities/campaigns.

Strong problem identification / problem resolution skills - and flexibility to manage and prioritise several projects at any one time.

Main Responsibilities

Developing and delivering external strategic communications plans that support and enable the business goals for US Bank in Europe.

Ensuring all communication is engaging, effective and relevant to its audience – delivered in the right format, on the right channel at the right time.

Project management of 25-year Anniversary communication activities across Europe

Creating communication activity plans using a range of channels to best meet objectives.

The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
