As a communication specialist- community manager, you will…

Engage in community management (proactive and reactive) across internal digital channels like Workplace and Partner Hub (intranet), and respond to partners (employees) in real-time through empathetic and inspirational engagement, escalation, or documentation. Use a consistent voice on our digital channels that build two-way dialogue and trust with the partner audience. Work closely with content creators and internal stakeholders to publish approved content to digital channels.

We’d love to hear from people with:

2+ years of copywriting and social media community management experience. Demonstrated ability to build community and inspire audiences. Understanding of the retail landscape. Energized by working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, organizational, time, and self-management skills. Consistent and strong collaborator across teams. Strong knowledge of digital/social platforms and capabilities. Passion for writing and communication with the ability to adapt to different styles. Self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional. Strong organization and project management skills with attention to detail. BS degree in Communications, Marketing, or relevant experience.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
