The Communications Specialist plays a crucial role in driving Christensen Farms' communication strategies, enhancing the brand, and acting as a strategic partner across departments. This individual will be enforcing, expanding, and maintaining engagement and connection for Christensen Farms at our Sleepy Eye Office with the opportunity of a hybrid work schedule. This role demands innovative thinking, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to collaboration and brand management. \n

Key Responsibilities:\n\nBrand Enhancement:\n\n\nElevate and maintain Christensen Farms' brand identity across all platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company's values and market position.\nSpecifically enhance the brand by integrating and promoting the 4P's-People, Pigs, Planet, and Prosperity-ensuring that all communication reflects these core tenets and contributes to a holistic brand image.\n\n\nStrategic Departmental Partnership:\n\n\nServe as a collaborative partner to various departments, helping to integrate their needs into the overall communication strategy, rather than merely executing tasks.\n\n\nStrategy Development and Execution:\n\n\nDevelop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that support organizational priorities and long-term goals.\n\n\nDigital Analytics and Metrics:\n\n\nTrack engagement and analyze metrics across platforms to guide strategic decisions and future plans.\nInnovative Content Creation:\nProduce creative and impactful content that resonates with diverse audiences and supports strategic initiative\nEvent Coordination and Management:\n\n\nOrganize and manage events that promote employee engagement and reflect the company's culture and values.\n\n\nCrisis Communication Management:\n\n\nAssist in crafting and executing crisis communication strategies, ensuring readiness and effective response.\n\n\nContinuous Learning and Improvement:\n\n\nStay informed on industry trends and advancements in communication technologies, applying new ideas to enhance personal skills and departmental outcomes.\n\n\nCommunications Platform Channels and Asset Maintenance\/Upkeep:\n\n\nRegularly audit and update communication platforms and assets based on situational needs and strategic goals.\n\n

Education:\n\nMinimum 2-year degree and\/or 5-6+ years' experience in Communications, Marketing, or related field. Or bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, or related field\n\n

Training and Experience Requirements:\n\nDigital Competence:\n\nAdvanced understanding of digital marketing tools, including AI, to optimize communication effectiveness.\n\n\nMultimedia Skills:\n\nProficient in video production, graphic design, and web content management.\n\n\nAnalytical and Strategic Skills:\n\nSkilled in using data to shape SMART strategic goals and communication tactics.\n\n\n\n\nInterpersonal and Communication Skills:\n\nOutstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.\n\n\nPresentation Skills:\n\nStrong presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying ideas and strategies to various audiences.\n\n\nDriver's License:\n\nValid Class D driver's license required.\n\n\nLanguage Proficiency:\n\nBilingual (English and Spanish) capabilities preferred.\n\n\n\n
