Communications Specialist

The Communications Specialist will take on a variety of tasks and contribute to projects related to internal corporate and executive communications. The role collaborates with colleagues across the global enterprise.

What You'll Do

Create written and visual communications that engage and inform internal audiences, including memos, newsletters and occasional intranet contentDraft presentations and scripts for internal meetings and events; strong PowerPoint skills are a huge asset in this positionOrganize library of communications resources, including templates, photos, presentations and company informationAct as project manager for various corporate and executive communications initiatives, such as employee recognition and newsletter contentGather metrics and other KPIs for internal communications channelsEngage with content, internal communications, events and media services teams on special projects and deliverables

What You'll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations or related fieldMinimum 2+ years of experience preferred (experience in corporate communication a plus)Strong writing and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to interact with all levels of management and staffCapacity to respond quickly and confidently to sometimes urgent need for quality communicationsExcellent PowerPoint skillsExperience working with platforms including Canva, Sharepoint, Viva Engage and email delivery systems a plusStrong presentation and public speaking skills a plusSkill in organizing team projects and assetsPositive attitude and professional demeanor with a responsive, service-oriented mindsetDesire to effectively operate within a team environment – readily share information with colleagues and embrace the give and take of responsibilities that regularly occurs

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

$60,000.00 - $90,000.00
