If so, you may be a great fit for the Knowledge Enterprise Strategic Marketing and Communications team. We are seeking a versatile writer to produce content for a wide variety of print and digital publications, including websites, news articles, feature stories, brochures and more. You should also be a strong copy editor/proofreader who is meticulous about accuracy, spelling, grammar and style.
The Knowledge Enterprise is the engine that drives research and economic development at ASU and in our communities. The Strategic Marketing and Communications team publicizes ASU discovery and innovation through text, videos, photos, illustrations and animations. We seek to engage, inform and delight audiences that include community leaders, partner organizations, funding agencies, donors, the ASU community and the general public.

Flexible work options: Alternative work schedules can include four, 10-hour workdays in a workweek; a nine-day, 80-hour schedule over two workweeks for exempt employees only; and staggered start and stop times. Hybrid work is an arrangement where employees spend a minimum of 60% of their regular workweek at their primary ASU work location. Dean or vice president-level approval is required. Remote work is an arrangement where the employee spends less than 60% of their regular workweek at a regularly assigned ASU work location. Executive vice president-level approval is required. Standard Working Environment: Climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of being in a stationary position. Constantly detects and operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. Ability to clearly communicate and exchange accurate information to perform essential duties. Expected to be responsive to customers, engaged in work production, resourceful, flexible, and respectful of others.Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, Education or a related field AND three (3) years of related work experience in the development of comprehensive and creative communication; OR seven (7) years of related work experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that verify mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six (6) months of experience.
