Position responsibilities:
Support the development of a local and regional external and internal communications strategy for Boeing in Poland and Ukraine.In support of local business priorities, support external communications for Boeing’s defence programmes in Poland. Anticipate, plan for and manage responses to issues related to defence programmes.Contribute to enterprise thought leadership:Notably on safety, sustainability, innovation and industrial partnerships.Partner with Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Defense and Space (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) communications providing on the ground expertise and support when necessary.Provide leaders with strategic communications advice and coaching, speechwriting, and identifying executive positioning opportunities.Partner with local leadership to support Boeing’s ongoing growth strategy in-market.Manage and plan the promotion of stories to key media and evaluate the merit of media inquiries.Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers and other stakeholders, and manage day-to-day media relations.Create English and Polish content for Boeing’s social media channels and work closely with colleagues on Boeing’s global digital and social media teams.Identify social media conversations that the regional organization should join or sustain, and lead social media engagements with third-party posts.Apply and enforce applicable highly complex communication standards and formats (e.g., corporate identity, branding, editorial, web, advertising) to ensure consistency and clarity. Understand and apply communications principles and metrics to planning.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.7+ years of Communications work experience; experience in creating and implementing communications plans, strategies and tactics, especially focused on external audiences.Fluency in English and Polish (Polish native).Work authorisation:
