Communications Specialist and Executive Facilitator
Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a dynamic and skilled Communications Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adept at transforming ambiguous ideas into clear, compelling presentations and facilitating executive collaboration meetings. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership.
This position is located in our Washington DC office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
Presentation Development:
• Transform complex and ambiguous ideas into clear, engaging, and visually appealing presentations.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy.
• Utilize various tools and software to create high-quality presentations that align with the executive’s information needs and communicate in a clear manner.
Executive Collaboration:
• Facilitate executive collaboration meetings, ensuring effective communication and productive outcomes.
• Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and follow-up documentation.
• Coordinate with executives to schedule meetings and manage logistics.
Communication Strategy:
• Develop and implement communication strategies to support organizational goals.
• Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on communication best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for communication initiatives and primary executive’s vision.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Prosci Certification or communications related certification required
• Proven experience in creating presentations and facilitating executive meetings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience directly supporting senior executives in their visioning and turning visions into clear communication materials.
• Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a corporate or government contracting environment.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles and software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,100.00 - $134,100.00.
