Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease. As the Communications Specialist I, you will be for supporting and providing insight for the creation of the site communications strategy and create & deliver a wide range of internal communication material. Performs guided specific assignments with limited scope, within established policies and procedures for internal and external communication on the manufacturing site. **What You’ll Do** + Performs various assignments with some guidance and independence, that require thorough knowledge of communication techniques, methods, and processes. For example: elaborates internal messages, products, Power Point presentations and campaigns, supporting the internal communications strategy, branding of the BU products and supporting the coordination of communication activities. + Develops content to sustain internal communication channels for the site maintaining information current. + Provides services (photography, media channel updates, activation stands, etc) either using company own media or facilitating the service thru an approved vendor. In such case, coordinates and provides guidance to the external suppliers to assure communication services complies with Abbott branding guidelines (for video, photography or printed communication) + Actively coordinate forums, town halls and meetings + Assist during visits and audits coordinating tours, material display and set up agendas + Active Co-Lead or support strategic initiatives for internal communications, events and activities. + May assist in providing communication consultation to internal departments. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor´s Degree Communications (Public Affairs, Social Communications, Journalism or associate) + 1 year of previous experience on communication or related field + Intermediate command of English. + SHIFT Admin **Preferred Qualifications** + Intermediate knowledge on graphic design, photography skills (preferred) basic knowledge on video creation (preferred).
