Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Communications Specialist (Saudi National) to manage / coordinate all internal communications requests and events, align with the client communications team on various initiatives, act as the brand guardian, and oversee a number of logistical office requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Brand Guardian: ensuring all relevant brand assets/templates are catalogued and distributed to employees in line with the brand management team.
Content Development: drafting professional content for internal communications, publications, presentations, and events.
Managing Internal Communications Channels: becoming the proprietor of the employee portal, internal communications channels, all internal publications, receiving communications requests (such as safety bulletins, site updates, etc.) and ensuring dissemination to relevant delivery partners/contractors.
Graphic Design Development: working with the internal designer to ensure creative asset development in line with corporate/client brand guidelines.
Internal Event Management & Engagement: preparing comprehensive internal event plans and budgets, aligning with all stakeholders and securing approvals, overseeing on-ground execution, post-event reporting/documentation, and coordinating delegation site visits (security access, tour preparations, photography, etc.).
Asset Production: receiving all internal production requests (posters, gift items, internal event materials, branded stationary, etc.), aligning with the branding team, and coordinating production/delivery/distribution/payment with external suppliers.
Secondary/Logistical Responsibilities
Office Logistics: managing/updating various administrative documents (org. chats, office layout, etc.), providing office logistical support (e.g. developing and installing various signages, safety activities, etc.).
Department Finances: overseeing department budget/petty cash, coordinating office procurement requirements (stationary, materials, etc.).
Employee Engagement: preparing an engagement calendar based on seasonal and local events around the Kingdom + regional events, coordinating various employee outings, and coordinating leadership team workshops.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English Lit., Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience + experience working with graphic designers
English – MUST have professional level written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work independently and self-motivated
Interpersonal skills – the role will interface/interact with all levels and all departments
