Primary responsibilities include: + Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of contract program. + Participates in the development, modification, and delivery of internal and external communication materials. + Supports the development and execution of program communication plans. + Supports the preparation of briefings to government customer and corporate leaders to include, but not limited to, draft talking points, scripts, and other communication products in coordination with business area and program leaders. + Utilizes effective writing and editing skills to support program and business area leadership communications to include customer deliverables and proposal development. + Ensures deliverables meet editorial and customer specifications, as applicable, and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style. + Provides administrative support, where needed, as it relates to program and business area communication activities and customer deliverables. + Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program. + Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met. + Collaborates across business area and program to gain understanding of all facets of the program and its technologies. + Participates in special projects as required. + May interact with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements. + May perform business development activities. + May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals. + May serve as a team or task lead. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience Required Skills: + Excellent critical thinking and strategic skills necessary to understand and strategically tailor communications to the program or business area. + Must demonstrate success and comfort in working with a diverse workforce, including working alongside technical professionals in various levels of expertise. + Outstanding time management; work within accelerated timelines while delivering high quality products to the customer. + Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work effectively in a team environment with colleagues from a variety of departments and leadership levels. + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint. + TS/SCI clearance required. Desired Skills: + Demonstrated experience and knowledge of NRO and its Mission Partners, or within the Department of Defense. + Experience in or knowledge of the IT field. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
