The Community Ambassadors will support Unity House of Troy through various roles and different work sites throughout the community. Part-time position 4-8 hours per week. Responsibilities: + Greeting of all guests. + Provide a welcoming experience + Assist with Unity House Children's Holiday Program. + Attend events and answer patron’s questions + Assist with where and when needed. + Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging. Requirements: + Ability to lift up to 4 0lbs without assistance. + Ability to work with the public; good customer service skills. + Ability to communicate effectively. + Willingness to learn and follow directions. + Interested in working and the ability to adhere to established arrival times and assigned schedules. + Ability to learn about Rensselaer County to offer support to patrons. + Must be able to stand. + Must be able to walk indoors and outdoors. Unity House is a Rensselaer County-based human service agency that provides a wide range of services to meet the otherwise unmet needs of people in our community who are hurting and struggling.
