\n \n Job Description

Associa is currently looking for a Community Association Manager (CAM) to join our team in Gaithersburg, MD. As a Community Association Manager, you will work closely with homeowners, Committee Members, Board Members, vendors, contractors, and internal Associa departments. Excellent customer service, communication, time management, project management, and follow-up skills are required for success in this role.

How will you make an impact?

\n

The Community Association Manager (CAM) helps the company grow by:

\n\nActing as or overseeing the primary liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners as needed.\nTraveling to client associations to attend board meetings, perform inspections, conduct walk-throughs, and attend community events as needed and per the management agreement.\nPreparing annual disclosure packages, annual meeting notifications, and annual financial statement packages for all homeowners and arrange bulk mailing of same within the time frames set by state statute or governing documents.\nReviewing monthly financial reports and ensuring management summary is submitted to the association Board of Directors.\nProviding and/or overseeing recommendations to the Association Board of Directors and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desired community appearance and operation.\n\n Requirements\nHigh school diploma or GED is required.\n2+ years of experience in Community Management is highly preferred.\nExcellent Customer Service skills and conflict resolution techniques.\nExcellentcommunication skills (written and spoken) and professional etiquette on the phone, by email, and in-person.\nTeam oriented, proactive, solutions driven, and ability towork well with others in person and in a group setting.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet time sensitive deadlines.\nFamiliar with financial documents, such as Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Delinquency Reports, and Budget preparation.\nProficiency in typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).\n\n
