The Community Association Manager (CAM) will oversee multiple communities to include mixed-use, HOA, Condo, and townhomes. The Community Association Manager willmanage all administrative, maintenance, and capital projects to ensure the betterment of the community. The Community Association Manager is the liaison among the homeowners, members of the Board of Directors, Committee Members, the association management staff, and maintenance vendors and contractors.
\n\nDaily responsibilities:
\n\n\nOnsite role at the Corporate office in Richmond, VA.\nImplement Board policy and directives within the scope of the management agreement. Works with the board on strategic initiatives, policy governance and association projects.\nWalk and inspect communities to ensure communities are well maintained and HOA Code, Compliance, Rules & Regulations are adhered.\nIssues violation letters to homeowners and follow-up to ensure corrected.\nMeet and greet homeowners, residents, members of the Board of Directors, maintenance vendors and contractors.\nResearch and respond to inquires in-person, by phone, and email.\nData enter and update information in the database; record and track documents and information.\nCreate and manage budgets; review financial reports, interpret Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Operating Expenses, and reserves.\nSubmit RFPs, manage the bidding and vendor selection process, develop vendor relationships, and mange capital projects.\nPrioritize maintenance requests and work orders; schedule and coordinate maintenance vendors and contractors for work to be done onsite.\nPrepare board packages. Coordinate and schedule monthly and annual board meetings for each community.\nCreate and send out weekly mass communications by mail and email to homeowners notifying them of maintenance onsite, HOA guidelines, and community events.\nAssist homeowners in completing architectural review forms and follow-up with homeowners on the Board’s decision.\nOther projects as assigned.\n\n Requirements\n3+ years of experience working with community associations or in the multifamily, leasing, and vacation rental industries.\nUnderstanding of the relationship among the Board of Directors, homeowners, and management company.\nCMCA, AMS, or PCAM preferred, or willingness to obtain.\nCustomer service driven and team oriented with a consultative approach when assisting others.\nFinancial acumen, ability to read and interpret financials, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Operating Expenses, Reserves, Delinquency Reports, Variance Analysis.\nEffective project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in various stages of completion and communicate with all parties involved.\nExcellent communication skills (written and oral) and conflict resolution techniques.\n\n\n\n\n
