Community- based Family Bilingual Therapist | Licensed or Licensed Eligible
Unlicensed Therapist - $54,763 - $66,924 annually Licensed Therapist- $62,977-$76,968 annually Purpose: To provide intensive therapy and support to children, youth, and families who are significantly impacted by mental illnesses and substance use so they may recover, thrive, and reach their full potential. Job Summary: Provide short-term individual and family therapy services primarily in the home and community, fostering real-world application and enhancing everyday functioning. Therapy services, including groups, may also be provided in an office or telehealth setting. Work with a multi-disciplinary team to plan and coordinate the right service, at the right time for clients. Essential Functions: + Follow best clinical practices and 27-65 requirements to provide family therapy, individual therapy, group psychotherapy and psychoeducation in homes, the community, and the office. + Engage the client and family in the treatment process and goal-setting. + Collaborate and coordinate with child welfare services, probation, schools, juvenile justice, hospitals, and other external partners to meet the needs of the client & family. + Participate in consultation and supervision with team members and other professionals in the organization. + Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation per clinical and administrative policies and procedures. + Promote, support, and demonstrate MHP’s mission, vision, and values through behavior, job performance and adherence to policies, procedures, and standards. + Participate in the development and improvement of programs and business processes. + Work some evening hours to meet families and youth when they are available. What We Need: + Family therapy experience (preferably in the home/community) and a love for working with children, teens, and parents. + Familiarity with attachment and family systems theory. + Knowledge of child development norms. + Experience with screening, assessment, and diagnosis for children and youth. + Ability to meet direct service expectations and to complete documentation within required timeframes. + Ability to develop knowledge of community resources and make appropriate referrals. + Must have a safe driving record, a current Colorado driver’s license and ability to travel within Boulder and Broomfield Counties. + Experience in a specialty area listed below is a bonus! + Play therapy, art therapy, TF-CBT, AF-CBT, Let’s Connect models, DBT or other EBP for children and their caregivers. + Substance Use treatment for teens and adults. + Must be Bicultural/Bilingual (Spanish) Therapist I: + Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field and an internship and prior experience in a clinical setting. + Must be license eligible, registered with DORA, and actively working toward licensure of Licensed PhD or PsyD, Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist (LMFT). Therapist II: + Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field plus and 2 to 5 years prior experience in a clinical setting OR: Related PhD or PsyD, plus 1 to 3-years prior experience in a clinical setting. + Licensed PhD or PsyD, Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist (LMFT) required. + Prior experience with treatment planning and provision of family, individual and group therapy with children ages 3-18 y/o and their parents. This position will be posted, at minimum, until August 12th and may remain open until a sufficient candidate pool has been collected.
