Community-based Nurse (ACT Program) Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Full-time: Monday-Friday 9-5 $40-47/hour based on qualifications and experience The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a leading not-for-profit organization located in Nassau County. CEC serves adolescents and adults with addiction and behavioral health needs. We have a great opportunity for a positive, motivated individual to work in a multi-disciplinary, mobile outpatient OMH program with a specialty in health and self-wellness activities and initiatives for ACT recipients. In this position, you will: + Work with recipients to develop skills that will support their recovery and attainment of their goals + Assist ACT medical staff with health-related activities when needed and appropriate + Develop interventions based on OMH's Wellness Self-Management curriculum and other wellness resources + Provide mobile community-based services We require: + Current NYS RN or LPN license + Clean, valid, NYS driver's license required + Must have transportation and be able to travel through Nassau and Suffolk County + At least one year of training and/or experience in health and wellness activities for behavioral health recipients, preferred We look forward to speaking with you!
