Coordinate coverage and train volunteers, maintain materials in the center. Collaborate with Clinton County staff to assess the needs of participants in the community. Coordinate service delivery of local treatment resources with detained and recently detained individuals. Work with community agencies in the expansion of services for those individuals on supervision who lack adequate housing, exhibit serious mental health symptoms, and who have chronic substance disorder. Facilitate cognitive behavioral programming groups as identified by the needs of the judicial district. Enhance group facilitation through observation, coaching, feedback and follow-up. Provide intake and orientation to clients who participate in groups. Assist with the development of interventions, primarily cognitive behavioral programming, to serve client needs. Conduct one-on-one sessions with clients as needed. Ensure group session integrity and organization to carry out the program mission and meet expectations of the evidence-based curriculum. Maintain and uphold attendance record. ICON entry for group attendance/records/interventions. Contacting clients enrolled in cognitive behavioral groups and their respective Case Mangers. Assist in developing the Wellness Response Action Plan (WRAP) and Moral Recognition (MRT) group facilitation within the communities served. Complete intakes and supervise low risk probation cases. Provides supervision and resources through the Resource Center for cases assigned to Pretrial release w/Supervision. Minimum Qualification Requirements Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification: + Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in any field, and experience equal to one year of full-time work in human services, criminal justice, or corrections. + A total of three years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in number one), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience. + Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes six months of full-time work as a Probation/Parole Officer 1 or Residential Officer Senior.
