\n \n Job Description

Associa Sierra North is looking for a Community Director. The Community Director is responsible for community operations and supervision of the branch including training, supervising and evaluating staff, client relations, and office operations. The Community Director is also a member of the branch leadership team and drives initiatives and programs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Community Management

\n\nIdentify critical needs of branch clients and work with the Community Managers to fulfill those requirements as needed.\nEstablish a relationship of trust and expertise with Board members, Vendors and staff.\nProvide oversight of Community Managers in general operations of the branch.\nEstablish positive relationships with stakeholders and other vendors at branch level.\nAssist executive management with strategic planning, business development, and fiscal operations at the branch level.\nComplete CCTR for clients within their book of business.\nProofread & QA Board packets and meeting minutes and SLA’s for accuracy.\nMentor Community Managers and develop key managers for growth opportunities and future Community Directors.\n\n

Department Leadership

\n\nIdentify the tools and resources necessary to meet the needs of all direct reports.\nImplement a strong focus to develop client and Community Manager retention.\nDevelop a consistent pipeline of Community Managers for backfilling positions when needed.\nIdentify the obstacles to a Community Managers success and assist with reducing them with coaching, guidance and leadership management.\nIdentify, change, implement and create Standard Operating Policies when needed.\nEstablish a relationship of trust with colleagues and other Associa department (i.e. CSSC, LHR, AOC).\nMonitor success metrics for all communities within your POD portfolio of communities.\nEnforce adherence to policies and standards within your division.\nManage management contract renewal submissions to the BP two (2) months prior to expiration.\nEnsure budget is achieved for your division on accountable budget items.\nSet goals, objectives and benchmarks for Community Managers and their assigned business units annually and communicate quarterly to team members with updates.\nEnsure that Community Managers work in unison with their designated Administrative Support personnel for maximum productivity.\nCoach, train and implement performance improvement plans as needed for struggling direct reports.\nIdentify Degreed courses for your direct reports and distribute accordingly.\nEducate, train and continually communicate with all direct reports regarding Associa updates, policy changes and internal communications.\nDeliver PPR’s quarterly for all members of your division.\nConduct Monthly 1:1’s for all employees.\n\n

Other

\n\nPlan and present training and other branch content at the Monthly Manager Meetings and partner with all departments and Directors for effective communication.\nPartner with the Branch President and others regarding business development opportunities to meet branch budget goals.\nWork on special projects and special initiatives as directed by the and Branch President and other leaders.\nPartner with other departments and Directors to help company achieve the Branch Management Plan.\nAd-hoc reporting and/or projects as needed.\nAttend CAI networking meetings.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

\n\nKnowledge of GAAP at a proficient level. \nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an expert level. \nKnowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at an expert level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nConfidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n

Education and Experience

\n\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience required. Master of Business Administration Degree Preferred.\n7 - 10years of directly related or closely related experience.\n5 - 7 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience.\n5 – 7 years of Community Association experience.\n\n

Certifications or Licenses

\n

Certified Supervisory Community Manager license issued by Nevada Real Estate Division is preferred. Certified Community Manager license issued by Nevada Real Estate Division is required.

Travel Requirements

\n

Limited travel is required.

Working Conditions

\n\nTypical office environment. \nOvertime may be required.\n
