Community Engagement Coordinator
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4pm    Salary: $ TBD

The Community Engagement Coordinator will identify, coordinate, implement, and document a wide range of programs for artists with disabilities. These programs will be designed to provide artists with professional development opportunities and healthy, supportive community relationships. The Community Engagement Coordinator will report directly to Gateway Arts' Clinical Director.

  Duties include: Identifies and develops opportunities for artists' community engagement activities that align with their professional and personal goals Schedules group visits to arts and cultural venues, and other sites of interest Collaborates with groups of staff and studio artists to develop creative projects geared towards community building and community engagement Supports artists to lead programming opportunities Works with community partners to collaborate on programming opportunities as needed Encourages an independence-promoting approach toward Gateway artists in the community Supports artist projects in the community, including artist-led programming as needed Serves as liaison between community partners and other Gateway Arts teams/staff as needed Serves as hub of community activity for artists, staff, and external partners Programs activities for community-focused studio in collaboration with Artistic Director and
Studio Art Facilitators Maintains calendar of community activities for internal planning and coordination Performs other duties as assigned
