Schedule: Full-Time

Shift : Monday- Friday Hybrid position. Travel to Celebration, Altamonte and East Orlando

Unit Highlights:

· This position supports all locations in the Central Florida Division (Hospitals, Standing EDs, AHMG, Centra Care, etc.).

This position manages the Care Crew Program.

The role you’ll contribute:

The role of the Employee Volunteerism – CareGivers Coordinator is to develop, implement, and oversee employee volunteer initiatives for the AdventHealth system. This includes building and strengthening external partnerships that enable AdventHealth employees to serve the Central Florida community; creating and maintaining a volunteer “Care.Givers.” website and database; and developing, promoting, and managing the “Care.Givers.” brand. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Develop and Implement AdventHealth’s annual Day of Caring by creating new and unique opportunities for employee volunteers from all campuses to volunteer within three counties at several locations throughout the community in a single day.

Manage and directly oversee the Care.Givers. database to evaluate the contribution of each volunteer, department and campus on a quarterly basis, by effectively tracking hours and generating reports.

Make presentations to promote and encourage the FH Care.Givers program at events such as New Employee Experience, Town Halls, Benefit Fairs and campus functions.

Identify and collaborate with community-based program leaders, to develop partnership engagement initiatives and volunteer opportunities that aligns with AdventHealth’s health priorities as outlined in the Community Health Needs Assessment.

Strategically plans and makes presentations to meet with department leaders to, develop, and encourage team-building opportunities for their departments across the hospital system.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Ability to anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of internal and external clients to meet or exceed their expectations within the organizational parameters

Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Well versed in the project lifecycle which includes all project deliverables including data monitoring, reporting and program evaluation

Two (2) years’ experiences in community outreach

Two (2) years’ experiences in project management

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration, health sciences, communications, public relations, marketing, non-profit management, education, or related field or four (4) years of relevant experience.
