Summary
Provides assistance with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community outreach strategies and activities. Supports processes and communications in the primary areas of network community sponsorships, outreach, network events and key stakeholder groups. Supports the sponsorship and outreach review and fulfillment processes for hundreds of inquiries annually. Serves as the project manager for assigned key stakeholder groups and internal and external clients with community-facing components. The position requires the ability to establish relationships within the network and in the community and proven success in developing partnerships with others. The position requires the ability to independently coordinate and staff community outreach programs, initiatives and events in a team environment.
Job DutiesCoordinate the Sponsorship Review and Fulfillment Process. Tasks include receipt and organization of inquiries, tracking activities and contacts, fulfillment of deliverables, data management of post-event evaluations, invoicing and calendar management with keen attention to detail. Provide ongoing support to projects and processes for community stakeholder groups. Tasks include creation of agendas, meeting notices, minutes, management of membership lists, addressing member inquiries, scheduling of presenters and other event-management related tasks. Provide ongoing project management support to network clients as assigned for marketing-related material and event requests. Coordinate Community Outreach activities. Tasks include promotional item ordering and tracking, management and tracking of outreach event supplies and materials used by network clients. Support network and media event planning and logistics, leading coordination with internal and external resources. Serve as a representative of LVHN at community events and business/networking functions, with a positive and professional presence when engaging with internal and external contacts at all levels.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree 2 years Minimum two years relevant professional experience in Public Relations, Community Engagement or Event Management. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Business writing and editing (Agendas, Meeting Notices, Minutes, etc) Customer Service and Conflict Resolution skills
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or other related field. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Business writing and editing, persuasive writing Survey creation and administration (Microsoft Forms, Menti, Redcap, or similar) Public speaking (for purpose of network representation at community events). Basic negotiation skills
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
