Salary range: $32.76/hr – $49.65/hr
The Division of Population Behavioral Health is seeking to hire a part-time Community Engagement Specialist to join the UCLA VA Veteran Family Wellbeing Center (VFWC). The VFWC serves as a vital access point for veterans and their families, providing life-skills training, health and wellness services, recreation, prevention programs, and educational support. Primary duties include:
Prepare training spaces, including setting up chairs, organizing materials, collecting sign-in sheets, and documenting attendance Develop, manage, and maintain ongoing relationships with partner organizations and training participants Support training strategies for assigned projects, including collaborating on curriculum planning and making decisions about collateral materials Coordinate with other training facilitators to ensure consistency, fidelity, and adaptability in training delivery across various settings and target populations Develop and implement special projects as needed Contribute to the development of evaluation strategies, including formative, summative, and performance-based measures Utilize evaluation and user data to inform training improvementsPlease note, this is a part-time position where you will work 20 hours a week.
