Job Summary
The Program Director of the All-In Center for Health Equity provides strategic leadership and oversight for various community health programs and their respective managers. This role ensures all programs are medically accurate, culturally competent, and effectively implemented, aligning with the hospital's mission and the needs identified in the Community Health Needs Assessment. The Program Director facilitates collaboration among program managers, maintains strong community relationships, and promotes professional development. Additionally, they oversee budgeting, resource allocation, data analysis, and quality improvement initiatives, while representing the All-In Center in community forums and coalitions.
Role Accountabilities Include:
Provide leadership and strategic direction for the All-In Center for Health Equity, managing program managers and per diem staff to enhance health equity and community health outcomes. Develop, implement, and oversee strategic plans, policies, and procedures to align with the hospital's mission, ensuring high standards of care, patient safety, and effective service delivery. Manage day-to-day operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, staff scheduling, and program implementation. Ensure all programs are medically accurate, culturally competent, and evaluated for effectiveness through regular audits and quality improvement initiatives. Facilitate collaboration and integrated services among program managers and staff, promoting professional development and training. Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and other stakeholders to enhance program reach and impact. Represent the All-In Center in community meetings, forums, and coalitions focused on health equity, promoting outreach efforts and increasing program awareness. Collect, analyze, and utilize data to inform program development, demonstrate the impact of initiatives, and prepare reports and presentations for hospital leadership. Work closely with the Community Health Needs Assessment/Community Benefit Reporting Manager to ensure alignment with identified community needs and contribute to required documentation and reports. Stay current with advancements in health equity and community health, incorporating new knowledge into practice and promoting cross-collaboration with clinicians.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, Health Administration, Social Work, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in community health, public health, or health equity, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience in program development, management, and evaluation. Strong knowledge of health equity principles and practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in a multidisciplinary team environment.Salary Range: Minimum $104,000 per year - Maximum $130,000 per year. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
