Educates and improves relationships between health plans. Community stakeholders, physicians, hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, ALF’s, & AFC’s regarding regulations of home care, hospice industry, agency policies, and informs vendors on scope of service.Performs community informational service events.Delivers and picks up orders, progress notes to physicians, medical forms/records from physician offices and facilities and explains any documents and facilitates patient care communications; obtains requested signatures.Sets effective goals and priorities; monitors progress against plans/productivity standards.Identifies and closes new business opportunities, within an assigned territory, meeting established sales objectives. Maintains a regular presence in each of the accounts within the territory to retain existing accounts.Provides the company with feedback regarding competitive activity and other relevant information.Receives referrals from physicians, hospitals, and other agencies and works with the applicable inter-company departments to support patient admission.Serves as a liaison between the agency, health plans, community stakeholders, physicians, facilities, referral sources, and hospitals in the community.Executes strategic plan and submits quarterly business review (QBR) with specific actions and timelines for results to meet specified admission goals.Initiates innovative ideas in health care systems and delivery by keeping abreast of the public’s medical needs and health care trends through continued professional growth.Performs other duties/projects as assigned.What is Required?
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required.3+ years of sales experience with 1+ year in home health care services. Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication.Skilled in conflict resolution. Proven sales acumen with demonstrated results and ability to work independently as well as in a team.Ability to travel as needed within territory demographics or organizational needs.Must have dependable vehicle, valid drivers license and current auto insurance in accordance with the laws of the state.You will report to the Marketing Manager.
