We build effective partnerships with co-workers throughout the College by freely sharing appropriate information and providing assistance to all and maintain an environment that is welcoming to persons of all backgrounds, nationalities, and roles. *Job Description:* Community Health & Well-Being Coordinator The Community Health & Well-Being Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating health promotion programs and initiatives aimed at students, staff, and faculty within the MassArt community. This role aims to improve the overall health and well-being of the MassArt community by encouraging healthy lifestyle choices, offering education and resources, and cultivating a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters a sense of belonging within a justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) framework. This position reports to the Director of Community Health & Well-Being and is part of the Student Development Division. Salary: $50,000-$56,000 Supervision Exercised: 5-6 undergraduate students This position is governed by the Association of Professional Administrators (APA) Collective Bargaining Agreement. *NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED VIA MASSCAREERS.* *ALL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY THROUGH** **https://massart.interviewexchange.com/static/clients/576MAM1/index.jsp*** Key Responsibilities: * Developing, implementing, and evaluating health promotion well-being programs that address the diverse needs of the university community; this includes educational workshops, seminars, and training sessions on various health topics, including nutrition, physical activity, stress management, mental health, drugs/alcohol, and more. * Collaborate across college departments: examples include working with Human * Resources to promote staff and faculty health and well-being, the Counseling Center to promote student mental health and well-being, among others. * Developing web- and social-media based health and well-being learning materials and programs to engage our college community population. * Creating partnerships and applying for grants to support well-being initiatives. * Stay up-to-date with current research, trends, and best practices in health promotion, public health, and well-being to ensure evidence-based program delivery. * Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities, participant engagement, and outcomes. * Serve as a resource and advocate for students, staff, and faculty. * Supervising, training, and mentoring undergraduate student well-being advocates. * Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: * Required - Bachelor's degree in health promotion, public health, or a related field * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities * Ability to plan and implement health promotion campaigns * Experience in developing and teaching health-related workshops * Proficiency in developing web-based well-being materials and programs * Experience in supervising and mentoring undergraduate students Preferred * Master's Degree in Public Health; MCHES, CHES, or CPH certification(s) * Strong analytical and research skills Spanish Speaking * 1 years experience in higher education *Additional Information:* Please note MassArt does not provide the following: * Employment-based visa sponsorship or non-student exchange visitor visa sponsorship. * E-Verify. * Reimbursement for travel.
