Duties may vary, but can be generally described as: planning, assigning, coordinating, directing, scheduling, evaluating, verifying, training, and processing of information. A thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and methods for the area of responsibility is required. Initiative and independent judgments are frequently exercised in formulating procedures or methods, and in program coordination. Work is performed under general supervision within University policies and procedures. Job performance is based upon overall operation effectiveness. **Requisition ID:** 40164BR **Optional Attachments:** Transcript **Travel Required:** Up to 50% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Support the implementation of and participate in strategic health education and outreach initiatives with staff, students, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and service agreements. This includes scheduling, facilitating communication across teams, tracking and reporting recruitment and education activities. + Support the assessment of program performance and impact, collect data, gather feedback from participants, and support the development and creation of reports for program accountability and continuous improvement purposes. + Complete program-required trainings on relevant health and outreach topics. + Attend meetings on outreach initiatives, work with CHWs to produce and/or update program materials. + Complete administrative tasks related to program operations. + Continuously expand knowledge and understanding of health related topics including, community needs, resources, services and programs available. + Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines in regards to participant information. + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes. + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution. + Perform all other duties as assigned. **Grant Funded?:** Yes **Minimum Hire Rate:** Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Work Location:** El Paso **Preferred Qualifications:** + Strong Communication Skills, Valid Drivers License with reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the community for outreach activities. + Flexibility to potentially work non-traditional hours as program needs dictate. + Bilingual (English/Spanish). + Prior experience in program coordination. + Strong knowledge of health education principles and community outreach strategies.
