Creates and implements a strategic plan for territory growth and development.Implements provider relations strategies to positively affect referral base and revenue in assigned territory.Identifies and visits case managers, discharge planners, social workers, physicians and any other potential and/or repeat referral sources on a scheduled and regular basis..Documents efforts appropriately. Submits to RVP and/or AVP a planned schedule, weekly contact reports indicating status and follow-up plans for contacts, and quarterly provider relations analysis.Maintains working knowledge of industry competitors as a continuous measure to ensure Elara Caring’s ability to retain and grow market share.Maintains working knowledge of health care industry, including legislative and regulatory changes which will impact business.Collaborates with Leadership to plan, implement and participate in trade shows and other opportunities to promote Elara Caring in the community for referral generation or field staff recruitment purposes.Collaborates with Leadership in contract assessment, preparation, and negotiation, as necessary.Communicates new contract information to all office staff as applicable.What is Required?
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field5+ years’ experience in healthcare salesAbility to effectively communicate in writing and verballyAbility to travel approximately 50% as business needs require.Must have dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance in accordance with the laws of the state.Previous experience in home health or hospice is preferredYou will report to the Area Vice President of Sales
