Community Linkage & Liaison Coordinator

Description:Position Purpose: Increase and Improve coordination and communication of individuals serving as Ryan White Case Managers, Peers, and Navigators in Broward County thereby ensuring accurate and current information is made available to all and easily accessed by anyone.

What you will do:

*The Linkage & Liaison Coordinator assists with increasing access, communication, community engagement and educating of case managers providing services to HIV patients throughout Broward County.

*Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the mission, vision and values of Trinity Health / Holy Cross Health in behaviors, practices, and decisions.

*Work with the Manager to identify and cultivate partners and stories within the community, with a commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices

*Analyze content feedback, and produce weekly community feedback reports

*Engage in conversations with community members in digital spaces such as Reddit, and other online forums

*Act as a liaison between community members and the newsroom/local content staff, facilitating introductions and connections; and relay community sourced stories or reporting topics

*Arrange face-to-face community engagement opportunities and/or vaccination for outreach workers, such as meetings with community members, feedback panels, focus groupsLead and/or co-host online community discussions 

*Network with colleagues leading engagement efforts in other newsrooms around the South Florida region

*Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior; and Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:*The selected candidate will act as a liaison between Holy Cross Health and the community, and must have excellent customer service skills along with experience collecting data, using electronic databases and other computer software packages.

*The selected candidate will be required to have a personal vehicle available for use with mileage reimbursement.

*The candidate will also be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Florida.

*The candidate will be required to work day shift, evening shift and weekends as needed.Individuals fluent in Spanish, Creole, and English are strongly encouraged to apply.
