Community Manager

Job Overview:   

As a Community Manager, you’ll be responsible for direct oversight of certain areas of the management of the assigned community, reporting at all times directly to the General Manager. This is a Full-Time position working Sundays to Thursdays.

If you’re currently a Property Manager at a smaller property, this role offers a great opportunity to grow and advance in your career. You already have experience managing and overseeing teams including concierge, maintenance, operations, and office staff. You possess strong customer service skills and are prepared to step in as the primary leader when the General Manager is unavailable. 

About Ocean Club: 

Ocean Club Condominiums is a luxury high-rise condominium complex located on the Atlantic City boardwalk, offering residents stunning ocean views and convenient access to the beach and nearby attractions. The complex features spacious one- to three-bedroom units with modern amenities, including private balconies, full-service security, and concierge services. Residents enjoy an array of facilities, such as an indoor pool, fitness center, spa, tennis court, and a social lounge. Known for its resort-style living, Ocean Club provides a blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience right in the heart of Atlantic City. This property has 754 units with commercial spaces and parking garages.  

Your Responsibilities:   

Directly oversees all Management Office administrative staff, Front Desk Services (Doorpersons and Concierge) and Security.  Daily supervisory level inspections in conjunction with the General Manager and Facilities.  Vendor and service provider interaction daily to ensure that goods and or services are being received per contracts in place.   Otherwise assist the General Manager in the oversight of all aspects of the operations at Ocean Club as necessary.   Be available for meetings or other events as well as be available to return to the property in the event of an emergency as determined by the General Manager.   Serve as the primary on-site person responsible for the oversight of the operation of Management information systems, including First Service Connect or similar system.   In the absence of the General Manager, serve as the person responsible for oversight of all of the administrative staff where appropriate.    Coordinate outsourcing for various repairs that do not fall under the purview of facilities.   In conjunction with the General Manager, where appropriate, collect and present bids for repair and replacement of certain non-mechanical items.   Provide community leadership and guidance to ensure that the needs or desires of the homeowners are being addressed.   Maintain community website.   Facilitate internal communication as required and direct the maintenance of office files.   Responsible for formatting and timely posting of all meeting agendas.   Perform building inspections of interior and exterior of property and prepare action plan for opportunities.   On-site visibility throughout the common areas and facilities.  Regular attendance and punctuality  Support the activities of the various Board sub-committees.  

 

  

Skills & Qualifications:   

Minimum of 3 years management experience, preferably in property management   Experience working on multiple projects at a time   Strong organizational skills   Strong written and verbal communication skills   Excellent word processing, mathematic and computer skills required   Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.    Proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows required.    Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information.

Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000/  annually
