The Community Manager’s main duty is to create and manage programming at an office property to enhance the experience for tenants and visitors in order to create a sense of community on the property and virtually. The ideal candidate has a hospitable and creative personality reinforced with an exceptional business acumen and tech-savviness. This position will not only plan meetings and professional conferences, but also exciting social and networking events. Additionally, this position may manage the admin portal of the property app, manage property social media accounts, and create internal marketing collateral.

Another goal for this position is to provide exemplary concierge services for tenants and building management by serving as an informational resource for the property – arranging events, meetings, services, gifts and reservations. The Community Manager is also responsible for accurate reports detailing client requests and billing of services to the tenants and client.

JOB DUTIES

Coordinate regular programming including but not limited to themed events, lunch and learns, conveniences, entertainment, philanthropy, and brand activations for the building and individual companiesManage property amenity spaces including tenant lounge, conference center, outdoor space, and other common areasPlan and maintain the property programming budgetPartner with fitness providers for health and wellness programmingCreate marketing collateral for property programming and events using property specific brandingPartner with onsite and local retailers and dining establishments to highlight promotionsAssist the property management and leasing teams in tours, welcome collateral, and events for new tenantsMaintain the admin portal of property app including conference center reservations, building events, and local area information and partnershipsManage the property social media pagesWrite and design e-blasts and monthly newsletter to tenants who have opted into the service regarding events occurring in the building and around the local areaAct as a building ambassador, including maintaining a welcoming presence in public spaces during high traffic times and during eventsRespond to in-person, phone and email requests from tenants providing guidance and information to tenants in a timely mannerKnowledgeable of local and trending events, attractions, restaurants, hotels, tours and transportation options in the surrounding area, helping to coordinate reservations and ticketsNegotiate contracts with area vendors for best prices and servicesProvide detailed reporting of events, conference center bookings, social media engagement and building app usage to the clientProvide timely and accurate reporting to the finance department to ensure accurate billing of services to clientsOther concierge-related requests, as needed

App Implementation and Management 

Partner with app developer to design and implement property-wide app Supervise app implementation and ensure deadlines are met Provide content and feedback to app developer in a timely manner Give status updates for app development to XM Corporate staff and client on a specified cadence Review building app often for brand consistency Create and maintain app content in-line with luxury brand standards Market and promote app usage among tenants, residents, guests, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceAt least three years’ experience in marketing and event planning, including VIP guest servicePrevious concierge or VIP retail experience highly-preferred
