At Piada Italian Street food we are passionate about food and hospitality. A leader in the fast casual movement, Piada combines fresh, modern Italian cuisine, in a delicious made to order format featuring tossed pastas, fresh chopped salads and hand rolled Piadas. We are looking for highly motivated team members for day, weekend and evening positions who are excited to deliver excellent food and an outstanding Guest experience.
The Community Marketing Coordinator is a Part Time position with a flexible 30 hour per week work schedule. Applicants must live in the Pittsburgh area, have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to all of the Piada restaurants in the Pittsburgh market and local businesses.
ResponsibilitiesPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating connections in the Pittsburgh area with schools, businesses and non-profits to grow the Piada brand and establish itself as a partner in the community.Advertise Piada by distributing flyers and other marketing materials at events, festivals, businesses, apartment complexes and schools.Solicit feedback and talk to Guests in our restaurants about their experience, our menu and the Piada brand.Work closely with the Marketing, local Operations and Catering Teams to execute grassroot campaigns, promos and larger events.Create and execute Local Store Marketing plans for the Pittsburgh area locations by identifying new opportunities in the Pittsburgh area for events, partnerships, activations and promotions
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Hospitality experience is a plus, but not requiredMust be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to drive and operate a vehicle without restrictionsUp to 80% of the role will be interacting with GuestsOrganized, outgoing, energetic and dependableA people person who is passionate about engaging with othersMust have reliable transportation and ability to travel around the Pittsburgh marketWillingness to work occasional nights and weekends when needed for events or activationsMust possess strong interpersonal and organization skills in order to ensure collaboration with the greater Piada organizationProficient understanding of MS Office and computer skills in order to build and document standard operating procedures.Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills with Guests, Team Members and the public.Strategic ThinkingTeamwork/Strong Collaboration skills
