Job Purpose: To be the Team Leader in the management and implementation of a high quality, evidence-based Community Nutrition Program that distinguishes our agency as a leader in the food and nutrition industry.  Our focus is on early intervention of nutrition and wellness education and being a strong community partner to provide all children access to fresh, tasty, nutritious, student accepted, and safe food.  The position is responsible for efficiently designing and managing all aspects of our community nutrition program, menu management and is the team leader for all Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and nutrition credentialing audits.

•    Supervises the daily activities, coordinates resources, and sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
•    Maintains the master nutrition information database utilizing HealthePro, including carbohydrate counts, allergies, etc.
•    Maintains updated files for Child Nutrition labels, nutrition information, and ingredient statements. 
•    Team leader for recipe crediting, menu development, menu enhancement, and distribution of menus and menu tools. Co-leads the recipe development process and the Culinary Council. 
•    Maintains and distributes all nutrition/crediting related documents, including production transport sheets, production assignments, etc.
•    Team Leader for all Department of Public Instruction and nutrition credentialing audits. Health Department Audits.  This includes site visits, style of service training, general training/education, wellness policy reviews, and pre-audits for DPI. and the Health Department, etc.
•    Create and distribute nutrition and wellness education materials to MCFI partners.
•    Creates and distributes point of service materials.
•    Communicates effectively with the Nutrition Services Director to ensure projects, program goals, purpose, and criteria for success defined and data is accurate.
•    Partners with clients to identify and resolve complex or sensitive issues.
•    Maintain / improve service delivery by assessing the organization and its services from the customer’s point of view. 
•    Participates in staff meetings and provides information regarding menu development, clinical nutrition management protocols, including training, and audit preparation.
•    Will collaborate and assist with all levels of personnel within the program to achieve common goals.
•    Maintain valid Wisconsin driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance in accordance with agency policy if driving own vehicle.
•    Maintain all Certification required for this position.
•    Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
•    Performs human resources responsibilities for employees which includes onboarding, training, coaching on performance, completes performance reviews and overall employee morale. Recommends hiring, terminations, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions and terminations. Reviews and approves the accurate report of time.
•    Responsible for ensuring that personal actions, and actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the program funders, contracts, and CFI business.
