We are currently looking for a Community Outreach Health Educator to join our team. This position would be responsible for providing community based HIV prevention information and interventions and referrals to members of the target populations in Monmouth County

Responsibilities Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workersConducts community and venue based outreach activities as indicated by client      availabilityEngages and recruits members of the target populations for Effective Behavioral      Interventions (EBIs)Facilitates Effective Behavioral Interventions (EBIs) as appropriatePerform Rapid HIV TestingAdheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearanceOmission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position Qualifications High school diploma required2-3 years HIV/AIDS related experienceKnowledge of cultural and lifestyle diversity issuesStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills

 Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working outdoors and indoors in a walk-in center with client/customer contact
