Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Part time Community - Retail Pharmacist 24 hours per week, Day shift, to join our team at Baptist Health Louisville. Flexible start time!

Assists the manager with oversight of pharmacy operations and personnel.Supports the orientation, training, and development of community pharmacy staff.Ensures compliance with Baptist Health policies, 340B program (if applicable), accrediting bodies, REMS compliance, third-party payers (including audits), and state and federal regulations.Ensures timely completion of all claim and invoice reconciliation.Ensures adequate control and documentation of controlled substance ordering, receiving, inventory management, and dispensing.Maintains compliance with immunization protocols and ensures all staff have current training, including BLS CPR certification.Reports Good Catches, Adverse Drug Events, and Medication/Fluid errors.Coordinates safe transitions of care from the hospital with patients, caregivers, other institutions, providers, and pharmacies.Promotes patient survey feedback and implements solutions for continuous improvement of the patient experience.Performs responsibilities of Community Pharmacy Manager during their absence.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required. Kentucky and/or Indiana Board of Pharmacy license as applicable to site.BLS certification required.Community/Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.Immunization certification must be obtained within 6 months from date of hire.
