Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, the system’s central clinical hub and Academic Medical Center, is located immediately adjacent to bustling college town of Hanover, NH. Position Summary: You will be expected to have experience and a strong interest in multi-modality community-based imaging and image-guided procedures, with particular expertise in breast imaging. This is a full-time role that includes participation in general call duties. Key responsibilities include interpreting a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies, such as mammograms, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, and X-rays. You will also be responsible for performing light interventional procedures, including joint injections, paracentesis/thoracentesis, and superficial biopsies. Timely and accurate reporting will be essential to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and engage in patient consultations to discuss imaging results and address concerns. Additionally, you will contribute to quality improvement initiatives and the ongoing advancement of radiological practices within the community hospital.
