The Opportunity
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time 0.4 FTE Hours of Work:Sunday & Monday 1500 - 2300 hours
Wages:$ 17.13 - $ 23.00
Community Service Workers are required to provide physical, emotional, and/or behavioural support to persons with developmental disabilities in all areas of daily living, recreation/leisure activities and community inclusion. Client support includes personal care, lifting and transferring, behavioural intervention, assistance with meal preparation, and housekeeping activities.
* previous experience supporting persons with disabilities
* behavioural experience and ability to implement behavioural programs
* personal care experience and /or education
* previous community inclusion experience and knowledge of community resources
* strong verbal and written communication skills
* computer skills required
* ability to perform lifts and transfers per job requirements
